Dru Wright

The light belongs to whoever gets up for it.

Dru Wright is an Idaho area photographer who has spent decades back-packing into the Sawtooths, waiting out storms on the Snake River rim, and volunteering his hands to band hawks and owls at the Birds of Prey National Conservation Area, among other remote Idaho and southwestern states pursuits.

He photographs the Idaho most people sleep through — and prints it for the walls where you spend your days.
